It is always a wonderful time of the year when spring flowers arrive. Living in the desert, Spring seems to come much sooner than one would expect.
I remember going on drives with my family growing up just to see the Texas wild flowers. Absolutely amazing.
Below are some flower pictures I took while on a walk with my family.
By far one of my favorite flower photos. Very colorful tulips. Cami and Taryn really liked them. I took this photo on my knees. You can't tell, but the road is in the background. Love my new camera and its ability to change the depth of field. Allows for some great shots even if the background isn't very exciting.
I thought this turned out nice. Pansies are beautiful, but they aren't my favorite.
Looks like I am not the only one that likes flowers. There were lots of bumble bees around this tree. I took about 15 photos. Funny enough, the first one I took was the best as far as the placement of the bees is concerned.
To take this photo, I cranked up the ISO to 800 and opened up the
aperture. This allowed me to get a much faster shutter speed. Still
wasn't quite fast
enough to truly freeze their wings, but close.
